Bone & Joint welcomes hip and knee replacement specialist Dr. Micah MacAskill
Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon helps expand access to specialized joint replacement care as demand continues to grow across Central Wisconsin
Bone & Joint is pleased to welcome Micah L. MacAskill, MD, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee replacement, to its team. Starting Aug. 31, 2026, Dr. MacAskill will see patients at Bone & Joint’s Rib Mountain and Medford locations; patients can call now to schedule an appointment.
Dr. MacAskill completed his medical education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at Marshall University. He completed his fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the University of Wisconsin, one of the region’s leading programs for hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. MacAskill specializes in caring for patients experiencing arthritis, joint pain and mobility limitations.
