Andrew Wilke, DPT, ACSM-CEPAndrew Wilke, DPT, ACSM-CEP, is a clinical exercise physiologist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. He combines hands-on therapy with individualized exercise programs to help people remain independent and meet their long-term goals.

Specialties

As part of the physical therapy team, Andrew Wilke specializes in treating major joint issues and low back pain. He helps people recover from surgery and sports injuries. Andrew has a special interest in helping people strengthen muscles and improve balance to reduce falling risks. He also works with athletes who want to return to their sports quickly and safely.

With his background in exercise physiology and coaching, he is passionate about helping people reach their optimal health, fitness, and performance goals. Andrew educates his patients during visits to help them understand how certain movements affect their performance and mobility.

Education

Andrew completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with an emphasis in human performance. He became a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist in 2019 after spending three years working in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in Plover, Wisconsin. Andrew joined the Bone & Joint team in 2022.

Interests

When he’s not helping patients move better, Andrew enjoys spending time at the lake, golfing, traveling, bowling, hunting, or playing card games. He stays active by running, weight training, and playing pickleball. Andrew’s passion for sports includes cheering on Wisconsin sports teams (Go Pack Go!) and officiating local sporting events.
