Cindy Koehler, physical therapist at Bone & Joint.

Bone & Joint is excited to welcome physical therapist Cindy Koehler to the team. Koehler will be located at Bone & Joint’s Merrill location, located at 100 Eagle Drive. Adding this location to its existing physical therapy locations in Medford, Mosinee, Plover, Rib Mountain and Weston will make Bone & Joint’s physical therapy services even more convenient and accessible.

The Merrill location already offers a comprehensive list of orthopedic, sports medicine and pain management services. Additionally, Bone & Joint will introduce physical therapy hours on:

  • Tuesdays from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Fridays from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

Starting in April, Bone & Joint will also offer occupational therapy at its Merrill location on Mondays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Koehler adds to Bone & Joint’s wide range of treatment experience with her long-held passion for physical therapy. Her care philosophy focuses on helping patients reach their full potential so they can participate in the activities they love. Whether a patient is in recovery from an injury or procedure or seeking pain management, she works with patients to design a personalized care plan. Koehler brings 35 years of physical therapy experience, during which she worked with patients of varying ages. She received her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

“As a physical therapist, it’s my job to help people regain their strength and mobility,” Koehler explained. “In that process, I see my patients’ confidence grow. That’s the most rewarding part.”

“Physical therapy plays a key role in helping patients reach or maintain the quality of life they’re looking for,” Kayla Degner, Director of Therapy for Bone & Joint, said. “The addition of physical therapy services in Merrill will allow care teams to collaborate under one roof to give patients the high-quality care that we’re known for.”
