We’re excited to announce that Andrew Davis has joined the Bone & Joint team, bringing his passion for sports medicine and individualized patient care to our practice.
Davis holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and has been practicing for 23 years. He’s a Licensed Athletic Trainer and is especially interested in both sports medicine and running-related injuries.
Personal Experience
After experiencing his own sports injury in high school, Davis developed a deep interest in the field of sports medicine. Growing up he always enjoyed playing sports, and he realized that a career where he could both help people and stay connected to his passion for sports would be a perfect fit.
Philosophy and Commitment to Patient Care
Davis strives to be an active listener. Understanding a patient’s objectives and expectations, as well as the reasons for their visit, is essential for him to work effectively with them in achieving their goals. He knows that every patient is an individual with their own story to tell.
Outside of work, Davis enjoys spending time with his children whether it’s quiet time at home, traveling or at any of their numerous events. He also enjoys taking walks with the family dog. He’s a big University of Wisconsin fan and enjoys watching and attending UW sporting events – On Wisconsin!
