Roger Gregush, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in adult joint reconstruction. Dr. Gregush sees patients at Bone & Joint’s clinics in Rib Mountain and Plover, Wisconsin.

Dr. Gregush specializes in complex hip and knee revisions. He performs total joint replacements in the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as post-traumatic joint reconstruction. Besides these specialties, Dr. Gregush provides other aspects of orthopedic surgical care, including:

  • Robotic Assisted Total Knee and Total Hip Arthroplasty
  • Direct Anterior Approach Minimally Invasive Total Hip Arthroplasty
  • Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty
  • Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopy
  • Anatomic and Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty
  • Upper and Lower Extremity Trauma
  • Fracture Care
  • Hand and Wrist Surgery
  • Carpal Tunnel and Cubital Tunnel Surgery

Dr. Gregush chose orthopedics for a very personal reason.

“I chose the field of orthopedics and joint reconstruction because of my mother. She had terrible osteoarthritis at a fairly young age. She was essentially wheelchair-bound; pain prevented her from doing what she enjoyed. After her bilateral hip and knee replacements, her life changed completely. She returned to doing everything she wanted to.”

Dr. Gregush earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He completed his residency at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Residency, in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gregush also received fellowship training through the Ascension Sacred Heart Adult Reconstruction Fellowship in Pensacola, Florida.

He finds fulfillment in helping people move better.

When asked what he found most fulfilling about his career, Dr. Gregush said, “I would say I am very grateful to have been given the chance to become an orthopedic surgeon. I truly enjoy what I do. In orthopedics and joint replacement specifically, I can significantly improve the quality of people’s lives. It’s very gratifying to see a patient who was not able to walk before, start walking again. I strive to be the best surgeon I can be.”

Dr. Gregush is board-eligible through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS). He also holds professional affiliations with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).

When not in the office, Dr. Gregush enjoys spending time with his wife and three children; he strives for excellence in those roles as well. He’s an avid skier and enjoys being outdoors, exercising, and staying active.
