She helps people continue their best quality of life by helping to minimize the effects of limiting spinal conditions.<\/p>\n<h3>Physical therapy helps people dealing with complex conditions<\/h3>\n<p>When asked why she chose the physical therapy field, Lisa said, &#8220;I wanted to be involved in helping clients not just recover from an injury or surgery but to make improvements in their mobility and return to the things they enjoy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lisa has a special interest in caring for people dealing with complex conditions involving their muscles and nervous systems, such as Parkinson\u2019s Disease.<\/p>\n<p>She also helps patients recover from orthopedic surgery, including total joint replacements. Lisa takes the time to promote injury prevention and wellness to all the people under her care.<\/p>\n<h3>Bone &amp; Joint&#8217;s collaborative care is great for patients<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;I enjoy being in a shared clinic location with the medical providers, which I feel improves communication, rehab progression, and speed of recovery for our clients, Lisa said. &#8220;Bone &amp; Joint has a great staff and is a great place to work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and her Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa enjoys spending active time with family and friends, working in her yard, playing on the Wisconsin River, traveling, and general fitness activities.
