Dr. Glennon treats common hand and finger injuries such as strains, sprains,\u00a0and lacerations. As one of the top hand and upper extremity surgeons in the area, she also performs intricate and complex arthroscopic and surgical procedures to restore movement in people’s hands, wrists, elbows,\u00a0and shoulders. She also treats overuse injuries, fractures, tendon tears, dislocations, arthritis, and conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff tears,\u00a0and tennis elbow.<\/p>\n
\u201cHand injuries can be very serious and cause permanent loss of function if they are not treated in an appropriate and timely fashion,\u201d said Dr. Glennon. \u201cIf I could tell people one thing it would be to seek treatment as soon as possible if they injure their hands or fingers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr. Glennon earned her medical degree from Hahnemann University of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Tufts \/ New England Medical Center, in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Glennon is board-certified in orthopedic and hand surgery.<\/p>\n
