TeleHealth Services

We help you feel better and safer.

For patients who are concerned about viruses or would prefer the convenience of a virtual house call, they can take advantage of our new telehealth service. Through this technology, we can continue to provide you high-quality orthopedic, pain management, sports medicine, and podiatry care. It’s safe, convenient, and easy to use.

To get started, you need to make a virtual appointment by calling 800-445-6442.

After your request, Bone & Joint will send you a confirmation message with all the details, including a Doxy.me link you can use to sign-in for your appointment. If you have an Internet connection and a smartphone or a computer running Safari, Firefox, or Google Chrome, you can connect with your provider through Doxy.me.

On the day of your appointment, your provider will send you a text message or email with a link to check-in for your appointment.

You can talk with your health care provider in real-time, just as you would at an in-person appointment. You can tell your provider about your symptoms, condition, medications, and any challenges you’re facing – right from the comfort of your own home.

It’s a secure video chat that complies with all of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules. You control who knows about your condition and your medical care. All virtual visits and patient information are also compliant with the HIPAA rules.

Bone & Joint is dedicated to providing you with the best care possible, while being safe and convenient.

Of course, there are differences between a virtual appointment and an in-person visit. We won’t be able to take your temperature, blood pressure, or do a physical examination.

If you live with another person and a physical exam is necessary, your provider may ask that person to help.

After our community is safe from the COVID-19 pandemic, you can resume normal in-person visits to your provider (if you choose) but until then, our providers can see you remotely for things such as follow-up visits, check-ups, and check-ins.
