Nicholas Aschbrenner, MOTR/L is an occupational therapist.
Nick joined Bone & Joint’s physical therapy team to work with people of all ages who have challenges performing everyday tasks. After an initial assessment, Nick creates a treatment plan for each patient. His goal is to help people live and move as pain free as possible, so they are able to maintain their independence.
He chose a career in physical therapy because he enjoys forming relationships with his patients to support them during difficult times.
Nick helps people recover from orthopedic conditions, surgery, and fractures. He provides services to rehabilitate shoulders, wrists, hands, and fingers. He also has experience working with children in a variety of settings.
When asked what he enjoys about working at Bone & Joint, Nick said, “I enjoy the little moments! I especially enjoy when patients and therapists can joke about graduating from therapy and getting back to their day-to-day lives with less pain or improved function.”
Education
Nick completed his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He is currently working toward an additional hand therapist certification.
Interests
A Central Wisconsin native, Nick is returning to the area after receiving special training at an out-of-state hand rehabilitation clinic. When he’s not working with patients, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, catching up on the latest movies, powerlifting, and walking his dachshund.
